It is the mission of the Shoshone County Crisis and Resource Center to provide crisis intervention, advocacy services and resources that empower and promote healthy and safe lives in the Silver Valley.

Services

  • Emergency crisis support, assistance and referrals are available by calling the 24-hour crisis line. All conversations are confidantial.

  • Better Together is our weekly survivor support group. Have dinner, craft and chat with other women in a safe, confidential setting. Meetings are organized and hosted by SCCRC advocates.

  • Crisis intervention in-person or by phone, support for victims of violent crime, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

  • Trained legal advocates provide information about the legal system, and assist victims to obtain temporary Civil Protection Orders. The advocate may also accompany the victim to court hearings, help navigate the judicial system. Advocates may also assist with Idaho’s Crime Victim Compensation applications, and signing up or the Idaho VINE.

  • A trained victim advocate may accompany you to a medical facility to support women and children through examinations related to sexual assault, or injuries resulting from a major crime.

  • Training and education to schools, churches, civic organizatons, and other agencies requesting information about our services.
